Jawaharlal Buddhavarapu

Jawaharlal Buddhavarapu has extensive experience in designing innovative technical solutions to resolve project and business challenges.

Mr. Buddhavarapu has developed applications covering all functional areas of an organisation's project needs. While serving as a consultant at ICI India Limited in Hyderabad, India, he designed and developed a distribution planning system for forecasting product demand for all aspects of the manufacturing process. For Aptech, also in Hyderabad, Mr. Buddhavarapu designed and developed an inventory and control package and helped the organisation refocus itself around the principles of total quality management (TQM) and the International Organisation for Standardization 9000 series quality management framework (ISO 9000) throughout the production process. He identified weaknesses in existing systems, processes, and capabilities, and created benchmarks and recommendations for setting up solutions.

While a consultant at SQL Star People in New Delhi, Mr. Buddhavarapu installed and administered operating systems, database servers, web servers, and application servers. He also designed, sized, maintained, and migrated databases for multiple applications. Mr. Buddhavarapu also served as a trainer, conducting seminars on graphical user interface-based design techniques.

Mr. Buddhavarapu provided systems expertise for a number of other companies. For ARS Limited, Mr. Buddhavarapu provided project leadership for a housing management software product. He was responsible for analysis, data and system design, project management, and configuration management. He also served as a technical lead on association management software for Orange Systems, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining all internal accounting components. For the District of Columbia Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board, Mr. Buddhavarapu redeveloped a games management system, which included debugging the complex, undocumented software to enable user acceptance.

Mr. Buddhavarapu received a BS in mathematics from the University of Delhi and a Diploma of Systems Management from NIIT, Delhi.
